Whip up creamy hummus effortlessly in 10 minutes using your Thermomix. Explore three delicious flavor options too!
Ingredients:
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 36.40 gm olive oil, plus extra to serve
  • 800g canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained (approx. 500 g after draining)
  • 60g lemon juice
  • 48.00 gm tahini
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Zaatar, for sprinkling (optionals)
Instructions:
  • Add garlic to the mixing bowl and finely chop for 5 seconds on high speed. Remember to scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula to ensure even chopping.
  • Drizzle oil into the pan and sauté over high heat for 1 minute.
  • Combine chickpeas and lemon juice, then mix at high speed for 30 seconds until well combined. Remember to scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl with a spatula to ensure everything is evenly mixed.
  • Combine tahini and salt in the blender and blend on medium speed for 10 seconds until the mixture is smooth. Pour the mixture into a serving bowl and optionally top with za'atar and a drizzle of extra oil before serving.
