Thermomix playdough recipe

Whip up no-cook playdough effortlessly using Thermomix for endless fun with the kids.
Ingredients:
  • 110g (1/3 cup) table salt
  • 250g (1 cup) water
  • 10.00 gm cream of tartar
  • 300g (2 cups) plain flour
  • 13.80 gm vegetable oil
  • Liquid food colouring of choice, to tint
Instructions:
  • Add the salt to the mixing bowl and mix on high speed for 5 seconds.
  • Pour in the water and cream of tartar, then cook for 5 minutes at 60 degrees on speed 3.
  • Mix the flour for 50 seconds on speed 4. Then knead for 2 minutes until the mixture resembles large pebbles.
  • Take out the dough from the mixing bowl. Add one-third of the dough along with 1 tsp oil and a few drops of food coloring to achieve the desired color. Knead for 1 minute until the coloring is evenly distributed. Transfer to a work surface and continue kneading until you have a uniform color. Clean the mixing bowl and repeat the process with the rest of the dough, oil, and color.
  • Place the playdough in individual resealable plastic bags or airtight containers, and refrigerate.
