Upgrade your party snacks with crispy fried tortellini, coated in a crunchy mix of bread and cornflakes, and served with a side of zesty tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package refrigerated or fresh cheese tortellini
  • 0.25 cup bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup cornflake crumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • dried parsley, to taste
  • oil for deep frying
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
Instructions:
  • Prepare the tortellini as instructed on the package. Rinse with cool water and let it cool down a bit.
  • Mix together bread crumbs, cornflake crumbs, salt, pepper, and parsley in a large resealable plastic bag to infuse flavor and texture.
  • Warm up the oil in a deep fryer or deep skillet on medium heat.
  • Coat tortellini in egg, shake in batches in a resealable bag, and set aside on a plate until oil is hot.
  • Fry breaded tortellini in batches until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
