Tia Maria chocolate sauce & strawberries

Elevate chocolate sauce with a generous splash of Tia Maria for a decadent ice cream topping.
Ingredients:
  • 100g good-quality dark chocolate, chopped
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) thin cream
  • 40.00 ml Tia Maria liqueur
  • 32.00 gm brown sugar
  • Vanilla ice-cream, to serve
  • 1 x 250g punnet strawberries, hulled, washed
Instructions:
  • In a heatproof bowl set over simmering water, combine chocolate, cream, Tia Maria, and sugar. Stir occasionally with a metal spoon for about 5 minutes until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Make sure the bowl is not in direct contact with the water.
  • Place a generous scoop of ice cream and a handful of fresh strawberries into each serving bowl. Drizzle with luscious chocolate sauce and enjoy right away.
