Tender tilapia fillets pan-fried to perfection, smothered in a creamy lemon-Boursin sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound tilapia filets
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions:
  • Combine olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat until the butter is melted.
  • Season both sides of the fish generously with a blend of salt, pepper, and fragrant Italian seasoning. Sear the fish in a hot skillet until a beautiful golden crust forms, approximately 3 minutes per side. Transfer the perfectly cooked fish to a plate, cover to keep warm, and let the flavors marry.
  • In the same skillet over medium-high heat, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, for about 1 minute.
  • Start by pouring in the flavorful vegetable broth and allowing it to simmer for 4 minutes. Then, lower the heat and gently swirl in the luxurious heavy cream and creamy Boursin cheese. Stir in the bright lemon juice and continue whisking until the sauce is velvety and cohesive. Finally, season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  • Plate the fish elegantly, drizzle over the delectable sauce, and adorn with bright lemon slices for a pop of freshness.
