Toffee grapes

Whip up Toffee Grapes for a sweet and boozy treat!
Ingredients:
  • 500g black grapes
  • 175g (3/4 cup) caster sugar
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) water
  • 6 shots (30ml each) Frangelico liqueur, to serve
Instructions:
  • Prepare two baking trays by lining them with non-stick baking paper. Skewer a toothpick into the bottom of each grape.
  • In a saucepan, gently dissolve sugar in water over low heat. Increase heat to high and boil without stirring until syrup turns golden, about 5 minutes. Brush down the side of the pan with a water-dipped pastry brush, then let bubbles settle before removing from heat.
  • Coat each grape in toffee and place upright on the lined trays. Allow to cool before serving with a shot of Frangelico.
