Juicy pork chops in a savory tomato sauce with fresh onion and bell pepper - a quick and delicious meal!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, or as needed
  • 4 pork chops
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour, or as needed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper - chopped, your color choice
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder, or more to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a generously oiled large skillet over medium-high heat, coat pork chops in flour and sear until nicely browned on both sides. Set aside the chops.
  • Cook onions and bell peppers, stirring constantly, until they are nearly tender, about 5 minutes. Return the pork chops to the skillet and pour in the tomato sauce. Once the sauce begins to bubble, reduce the heat to low.
  • Let the flavors meld over low heat for 30 minutes, then elevate the dish with a blend of garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
