Indulge in baked pork chops smothered in a delectable sweet tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 thick cut boneless pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 (10 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 0.25 cup water
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • In a medium skillet over medium heat, sizzle pork chops in olive oil until beautifully browned on both sides, about 5 minutes each. Take off the heat.
  • Combine the brown sugar, salt, pepper, and dry mustard in a small bowl.
  • Place the pork chops neatly in a medium baking dish. Drizzle with zesty lemon juice, rub them with a flavorful brown sugar mix, and smother them in tomato sauce. Gently add water to the dish.
  • Bake covered for 1 hour in a preheated oven until reaching an internal temperature of 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
