Sweet and savory tonkatsu sauce made with ketchup, soy sauce, and mirin; perfect for fried pork cutlets, coconut shrimp, and rolls.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mirin (Japanese sweet wine)
  • 1.5 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions:
  • Prepare all of your fresh and flavorful ingredients.
  • Combine ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, Worcestershire sauce, ginger, and garlic in a mixing bowl.
  • Allow the flavors to mingle for a minimum of 30 minutes before enjoying.
