Delicious and comforting tortellini alla fini with ham, peas, and creamy sauce, ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages fresh cheese tortellini
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 cups freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups diced cooked ham
  • 2 cups cooked peas
Instructions:
  • Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a vigorous boil. Add tortellini and cook uncovered until they rise to the surface and the filling is heated through, around 3 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Pour in cream and heat gently, stirring often. Season with a pinch of nutmeg and pepper. Gradually blend in Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until it thickens. Gently fold in ham and peas until fully incorporated.
  • After cooking the tortellini, drain and place back in the pot. Then, generously pour the sauce over the tortellini and mix well to coat.
