Cozy up with a hearty sausage, potato, and kale soup in a creamy chicken broth.
Ingredients:
  • 12 links spicy pork sausage, sliced
  • 0.75 cup diced onion
  • 1.25 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chicken soup base
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 potatoes, halved and sliced
  • 2 cups sliced kale
  • 0.33333334326744 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • Arrange the sausage links on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, or until fully cooked. Then, slice them into 1/2 inch pieces.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, saute onions in oil until translucent. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add the broth, water, and potatoes to the pot and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Lower the heat and introduce the sausage, kale, and cream into the mix. Let it simmer until everything is heated through, then serve promptly.
