Moist banana bread with a twist - sweetened with maple syrup for a natural, delicious flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 4 bananas, mashed
  • 2 (4 ounce) containers applesauce
  • 0.25 cup real maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup agave nectar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a loaf pan generously.
  • In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice.
  • In a separate bowl, blend bananas and eggs until smooth using an electric mixer. Mix in applesauce, maple syrup, agave nectar, and vanilla extract. Combine banana mixture with flour mixture until fully mixed using a spatula. Transfer batter into the loaf pan and bake.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 80 to 90 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. After baking, cool the cake on a wire rack for 5 minutes, then gently loosen the edges with a table knife and carefully invert onto a serving plate or cooling rack to cool completely.
