Frozen blackberry cobbler with a scrumptious biscuit topping for a taste of summer year-round!
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds frozen blackberries, thawed
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 1.5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tablespoons butter
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 0.25 cup softened butter
  • 0.66666668653488 cup milk
  • 1 large egg, beaten
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Coat blackberries with a sweet mixture of 1 ¼ cups sugar and 1 ½ tablespoons flour in a bowl. Transfer to a 9x9-inch baking dish, and top with 1 ½ tablespoons of butter evenly distributed.
  • In a separate bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups flour, baking powder, salt, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Add softened butter and mix until it resembles bread crumbs. Then, stir in milk and egg until well combined. Drop spoonfuls of batter over the berries.
  • Bake in the oven until the fruit is tender and the topping is golden brown, for about 20-30 minutes.
