Traditional Spring Celebration Brownies

Make festive fudgy spring brownies with marshmallows and pastel-colored chocolate candies. Perfect for parties or just treating yourself!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup pastel-colored chocolate candies
  • 1/4 cup semisweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon shortening
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray or shortening. Follow the instructions on the box to prepare the brownie mix for a 13x9-inch pan, using water, oil, and eggs as directed.
  • Bake for 23 minutes until golden. Top with marshmallows and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until they are puffed and golden. Finish by sprinkling with candies.
  • In a small microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips and shortening in the microwave on High for 15 seconds. Stir until smooth. Drizzle the mixture over the bars. Allow them to cool completely for about 1 hour. To make cutting easier, use a plastic knife dipped in hot water. Cut the bars into 6 rows by 4 rows.
