Decadent tres leches cake infused with 3 milks for ultimate moisture, topped with luscious whipped cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan by greasing and flouring it.
  • Combine and sieve the flour and baking powder together, then set the mixture aside.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together sugar and butter until fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla until well combined. Gradually incorporate flour mixture into the batter, making sure everything is well blended. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Poke the cake all over with a fork and allow it to cool to room temperature.
  • Combine whole milk, condensed milk, and evaporated milk in a bowl, then pour the mixture over the cooled cake, letting it soak in.
  • Using an electric mixer, whip the cream, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla in a chilled glass or metal bowl until thick. Spread the mixture over the filling and refrigerate the cake until serving.
