Turn Halloween candy into a show-stopping cheesecake with a chocolate cookie crust for a spooky sweet treat.
Ingredients:
  • 25 chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®), crushed
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup melted butter
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 20 mini chocolate-coated caramel-peanut nougat candy bars (such as Snickers®), cut into quarters
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) and add a shallow pan filled halfway with water to the lower rack to prevent cheesecake cracking. Grease a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper.
  • Combine chocolate sandwich cookies, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl, then press the mixture firmly onto the bottom of the pan.
  • In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer to blend together cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until just blended. Fold in chopped candy bars and vanilla extract. Pour the mixture over the crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft. Turn off the oven, leave the door open, and cool the cheesecake inside for at least 1 hour. Run a knife or spatula around the edges to loosen the cheesecake; then refrigerate in the pan until set for 8 hours or overnight.
