Ingredients:
  • 125g butter, chopped
  • 8.80 gm vanilla essence
  • 180.00 gm firmly-packed brown sugar
  • 110g plain flour
  • 75g self-raising flour
  • 20.00 gm cocoa powder
  • 125g Milk Chocolate Bits
  • 125g dark choc bits
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C and prepare 2 baking trays by lining the base with non-stick baking paper.
  • In a large bowl, use electric beaters to whip up a smooth mixture of butter, vanilla, and brown sugar. Be careful not to overbeat. Then, mix in the egg.
  • Combine the sifted flours and cocoa. Stir in the flour mixture and chocolate bits into the butter mixture until well combined.
  • Spoon dollops of mixture onto lined trays, ensuring there is 6cm of space between each. Bake in batches for 12-15 minutes until the tops are just set. Let the cookies sit on the tray for 5 minutes, then move them to a wire rack to cool completely.
