Indulge in our decadent Triple Chocolate Tres Leches Cake. Moist cake infused with chocolate milk, topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Serves 15, ideal for any gathering.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
  • 1 1/4 cups chocolate milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • 1 cup chocolate milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Chocolate curls, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously spray the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the Cake ingredients on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally. Then, pour the mixture into the pan.
  • Bake for 30-34 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove the cake from the oven and place it on a cooling rack. Quickly poke holes all over the top of the cake using a fork, wiping the fork tines with a paper towel as needed to prevent sticking.
  • Mix the Filling ingredients in a medium bowl until well combined. Gently pour the mixture over the cake, making sure to fill all the holes. Tap the pan on the counter a few times to help the filling settle. Chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours until cold. Serve and enjoy, noticing any excess liquid at the bottom of the pan while cutting.
  • In a chilled medium bowl, use an electric mixer on medium-high speed to beat the Topping ingredients until stiff peaks form. Frost the top of the chilled cake with whipped cream and sprinkle chocolate curls on top. Cut into 5 rows by 3 rows and store loosely covered in the refrigerator.
