Triple-Chocolate Cherry Bars

Create cherry chocolate fudge bars for a delicious twist on a classic favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 bag (12-oz size) miniature semisweet chocolate chips (1 cup)
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Chocolate Frosting
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan), and prepare your pan by greasing and flouring or spraying with baking spray with flour.
  • Combine the dry cake mix, pie filling, eggs, and chocolate chips in a large bowl using a rubber spatula, making sure to break up any undissolved cake mix by pressing with the spatula. Carefully spread the mixture in the pan.
  • Bake the 15x10x1-inch pan for 23 to 27 minutes or the 13x9-inch pan for 29 to 34 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool for about 1 hour, then frost. Cut into 8 rows by 6 rows for bars and store loosely covered.
