Indulgent chocolate double-chip cookies for chocolate lovers.
Ingredients:
  • 7 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 0.75 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F and generously grease your cookie sheets.
  • Combine the luxurious chocolate squares with the luscious butter in a double boiler until melted into a velvety mixture. Stir passionately and luxuriate in the rich aroma before removing from the heat.
  • Combine sugar and eggs in a medium bowl until thick and creamy. Stir in vanilla and melted chocolate.
  • Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt until fully incorporated. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Using a teaspoon, place dollops of the mixture 1 1/2 inches apart on a baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes, or until the tops crackle and appear shiny. Allow to cool for 3 to 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
