Tuna and cherry tomato pasta

Tasty tuna pasta made with just 6 ingredients - a quick and satisfying dish!
Ingredients:
  • 350g spaghetti
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 400g can Italian whole cherry tomatoes
  • 2 x 185g cans tuna in chilli oil, drained, flaked
  • 250.00 ml small fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
  • Boil pasta in a large saucepan of salted water as per package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in capsicum and garlic, cooking for 2 minutes until capsicum softens. Add tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes until they just collapse.
  • Toss pasta, tuna, and fragrant basil in the pan for 2 minutes or until warm. Season generously with salt and pepper, then serve.
