Elevate your turkey sandwich with zesty roasted red pepper and spicy pepper jack cheese in just 25 minutes, perfect for a delicious packed lunch.
Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf (16 oz) French bread
  • 1 lb thinly sliced cooked turkey
  • 1 jar (7 oz) roasted red bell peppers, drained
  • 8 slices (about 1 oz each) pepper Jack cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat grill. Cut a large sheet of heavy-duty foil. Slice the bread horizontally. Arrange turkey, peppers, and cheese on the bottom half of the bread. Place the top half over the fillings. Position the sandwich in the middle of the foil sheet.
  • Fold 2 sides of foil over the sandwich, ensuring edges meet. Make a tight 1/2-inch fold, then fold again to allow space for heat circulation and expansion. Seal the other sides by folding them as well.
  • Grill the packet over low heat, cover, and cook for 10 to 13 minutes. Rotate the packet 1/2 turn after 5 minutes. The sandwich should be toasted and the cheese melted when done.
  • Unwrap the foil gently to release the steam, then slice the sandwich into 6 delicious pieces.
