Elevate your pizza with fresh basil and turkey bacon for a delicious upgrade!
Ingredients:
  • 2 slices Pure Farmland® Uncured Turkey Bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 (14 ounce) package par-baked flatbread pizza crust
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 grape tomatoes, cut in half
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic glaze
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  • Fry bacon in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until crispy and golden brown, for about 8 to 10 minutes. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to cool.
  • Mix together the olive oil and garlic in a small bowl.
  • Lay flatbread on a baking sheet, generously brush with aromatic garlic-infused oil. Evenly scatter a layer of cheese on top of the flatbread. Finish by artfully placing crispy bacon and halved ripe tomatoes.
  • Bake pizza until bubbly and golden. Take out of the oven.
  • Arrange fresh basil leaves generously on the pizza. Artfully drizzle tangy balsamic glaze over the basil leaves. Slice pizza into wedges and elegantly serve.
