Homemade turkey breakfast sausage with a flavorful blend of spices for a delicious morning treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground sage
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions:
  • Combine turkey with the aromatic blend of brown sugar, salt, black pepper, sage, thyme, marjoram, and red pepper flakes in a bowl until fully incorporated. Form the seasoned turkey mixture into patties.
  • Fry patties in batches in a large skillet over medium-high heat until beautifully golden brown and cooked through, about 6 to 8 minutes. Make sure each patty reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C) using an instant-read thermometer.
