Try this delicious and easy Turkish mince pizza topped with fresh mint and a dollop of creamy yogurt for a crowd-pleasing dish!
Ingredients:
  • 9.20 gm vegetable oil
  • 1 red onion, coarsely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 500g 3 star beef mince
  • 1.25 gm cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 60ml beef stock
  • 20.00 ml fresh flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 40.00 ml toasted pine nuts
  • 200g pkt round plain pizza bases
  • 44.40 gm tomato paste
  • 165.00 ml Perino grape tomatoes, halved
  • 125.00 ml small fresh mint leaves
  • 95g yoghurt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C. Meanwhile, warm oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic for 5 minutes until onion softens. Incorporate beef mince and cook for 5 minutes, stirring to break up lumps, until the meat browns. Mix in spices and stock, simmer until almost absorbed. Finally, add parsley and pine nuts, stir well, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Lay out pizza bases on lined baking trays, then generously spread with tomato paste and cover with the mince mixture. Bake until base is golden and crispy, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Garnish pizzas with fresh tomato slices and mint leaves, then add a generous spoonful of creamy yogurt on top.
