Indulgent turtle dump cake blends chocolate, caramel, and pecans into a simple 7-ingredient treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) Jell-O™ chocolate-flavor instant pudding & pie filling mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting (from 16 oz container)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously coat a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, vigorously whisk together the dry pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes. Gently fold in 1/2 cup of the luscious caramel sauce. Add the cake mix and 1 cup of decadent chocolate chips, mixing until fully combined. Evenly spread the batter in the pan. Top with a generous sprinkle of pecans and the remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips for added indulgence.
  • Bake the cake for 33 to 38 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out almost clean. Allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
  • Before serving, heat the frosting in a small microwavable bowl, uncovered on High for 10 to 15 seconds, or until it is thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle the warmed frosting and remaining 1/4 cup caramel sauce over the cake using a fork. Serve with a large spoon and store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
