Twisted Pizza Dogs

Elevate hot dogs with Bisquick® mix for a fun and tasty alternative to regular buns.
Ingredients:
  • 1 3/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 can (8 oz) pizza sauce
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F and grease a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, combine Bisquick mix, 1/3 cup milk, and 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce. Stir with a fork until a soft dough forms, then beat for 30 seconds. Transfer the dough onto a surface dusted with Bisquick mix; roll it to coat. Shape the dough into a ball and knead it 10 times.
  • Roll out the dough into a 12x8-inch rectangle. Cut the dough lengthwise into eight 1-inch strips. Wrap each hot dog with a strip of dough in a spiral pattern, securing the ends if needed. Transfer them to a baking sheet.
  • Coat dough with a generous brush of milk and sprinkle with cheese. Bake until golden brown, about 10-12 minutes. Serve with warm remaining pizza sauce on the side.
