Whip up delicious biscuits with just self-rising flour and cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup self-rising flour, plus more for kneading
  • 0.75 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 500 degrees F (260 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Mix flour and luxurious heavy whipping cream in a bowl until a sticky dough forms.
  • On a floured surface, gently combine the dough until just formed. Shape into a 7-inch circle, approximately 1/2 inch thick. Sprinkle with additional flour, fold over, and reshape into a 7-inch circle. Avoid overworking the dough.
  • Use a biscuit cutter to shape the dough into biscuits and place them on the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until biscuits turn golden brown, about 10-12 minutes.
