Tangy yogurt dip with garlic, dill, lemon, olive oil, and cucumbers - perfect match for spicy Mediterranean dishes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (32 ounce) container plain yogurt
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 medium head garlic
  • 0.25 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill weed
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Wrap the yogurt in a generous square of double cheesecloth, secure it at the top, and allow it to drain any extra liquid for approximately 4 hours.
  • Peel the cucumbers and deseed using a spoon. Shred the cucumbers and squeeze out any excess liquid.
  • Peel and finely chop garlic.
  • Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Stir in yogurt, cucumbers, and garlic until well combined. Chill until serving.
