Try this Bisquick Heart Smart® recipe for a guilt-free treat to enjoy solo or with loved ones.
Ingredients:
  • 2/3 cup Bisquick Heart Smart® mix
  • 1/2 cup grated reduced-fat Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut crosswise into 1/2-inch strips
  • 1/4 cup fat-free egg product
  • 3 tablespoons 40% vegetable oil spread, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°F and line a cookie sheet with foil sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Combine Bisquick® mix, cheese, salt, and paprika in a 1-gallon resealable plastic bag. Dip half of the chicken strips in egg, transfer to the bag and seal. Shake to coat the chicken. Place coated chicken on a cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining chicken strips. Drizzle with vegetable oil spread before baking.
  • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking, until fully cooked in the center.
