Indulgent single-serve chocolate mocha pot de crème, decadently sweet, perfect for entertaining.
Ingredients:
  • 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Combine chocolate, instant coffee, and salt in a medium bowl, stirring until well mixed.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, gently warm the cream, sugar, and vanilla while stirring consistently until it almost simmers.
  • Pour the steaming, velvety cream mixture over the decadent chocolate; allow it to rest and meld for a minute.
  • Whisk together the luscious blend of chocolate and cream for 1 to 2 minutes until perfectly combined.
  • Divide mixture evenly among four charming espresso cups. Gently tap cups to eliminate any pesky air bubbles. Allow to chill in the fridge for a minimum of 4 hours.
  • Top with grated chocolate for a decadent finish, or garnish with lightly whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
