Revolutionize your Thanksgiving with our decadent slow-cooker mashed potatoes. Only 15 minutes prep for creamy, dreamy potatoes loaded with cream cheese, sour cream, and butter. Prepare to be bombarded with requests for this irresistible dish!
Ingredients:
  • Reynolds™ Slow Cooker Liners
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3 cups Betty Crocker™ mashed potatoes
  • Gravy or chopped fresh parsley, if desired
Instructions:
  • Fit a Reynolds™ Slow Cooker Liner into a 5- to 6 1/2 -qt slow cooker bowl, ensuring a tight fit against the bottom and sides. Pull the top of the liner over the rim of the bowl.
  • Combine boiling water, milk, butter, sour cream, and cream cheese in a cooker. Whisk until smooth. Stir in garlic salt, pepper, and dry potatoes until well combined.
  • Cover and let simmer on Low heat for 1 hour and 30 minutes, remembering to give it a gentle stir after the first hour.
  • Stir the potatoes before serving. Keep warm in the slow cooker on the Low heat setting for up to 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. If the potatoes thicken too much, mix in additional milk, about 2 tablespoons at a time. Serve with gravy or garnish with chopped parsley.
