Indulge your loved one with decadent homemade chocolate truffles this Valentine's Day.
Ingredients:
  • 180g white chocolate, chopped
  • 63.13 gm thickened cream
  • 1/2 tsp strawberry essence
  • Pink food colouring
  • 180g milk chocolate, chopped
  • Pink heart sprinkles, to decorate
Instructions:
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate and cream. Microwave on medium-high for 1 to 2 minutes until melted and smooth. Stir in essence and tint the mixture pink with food coloring. Refrigerate until firm, around 3 to 4 hours.
  • Prepare a tray with baking paper. Shape heaping teaspoons of the mixture into balls and arrange them on the tray. Freeze until solid.
  • Place milk chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on medium-high (75%) for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring halfway through using a metal spoon, until melted and smooth. Dip truffles in the melted chocolate using a fork, shake off excess, and return to tray. Add a pink heart on top of each truffle. Refrigerate until set and serve.
