Ingredients:
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions:
  • Combine powdered sugar and butter in a medium bowl using a spoon or electric mixer on low speed. Mix in vanilla and 1 tablespoon of milk.
  • Adjust frosting consistency by slowly adding more milk for a smooth and spreadable texture. If too thick, add more milk a few drops at a time. If too thin, add a little powdered sugar. Use to generously frost a 13x9-inch cake or fill and frost an 8- or 9-inch two-layer cake.
