Vanilla chocolate fondue

Indulge in a decadent fondue dessert of vanilla chocolate with fresh fruit and biscuits for a flavorful finale.
Ingredients:
  • 250ml (1 cup) pouring cream
  • 1 vanilla bean, split lengthways, seeds removed
  • 375g good-quality milk chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 50.00 ml Original Irish Cream liqueur (optional)
  • Fresh fruit, to serve
  • Almond biscuits, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over gentle heat, combine cream and vanilla bean seeds until just simmering.
  • Take the mixture off the heat. Add the chocolate and cover it, allowing it to sit for 10 minutes or until the chocolate is melted. Use a balloon whisk to mix until smooth. Optionally, stir in the Baileys.
  • Gently warm the fondue pot over low heat. Pour the chocolate mixture into the pot and enjoy with fresh fruit and almond biscuits right away.
