Vanilla Crescents with Nutella® hazelnut spread

Christmas crescent cookies dipped in Nutella® hazelnut spread, perfect for family fun!
Ingredients:
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 0.5 cup butter, cut into cubes and softened
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup almond flour
  • 0.66666668653488 cup Nutella® hazelnut spread
Instructions:
  • Gently slice the vanilla bean lengthwise with a knife to reveal the flavorful seeds inside. Alternatively, opt for 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract for convenience.
  • Combine butter, sugar, and flavorful vanilla seeds/extract in a large bowl. Mix in flour and almond flour until dough forms. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Shape a small amount of dough into a crescent, then place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Continue shaping the rest of the dough to yield a total of 16 cookies.
  • Place in the center of the oven and bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until a light golden hue develops. Take out from the oven and allow it to cool completely on the baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl set over simmering water, melt Nutella® hazelnut spread until softened, about 5 minutes. Dip half of each cookie into the Nutella® hazelnut spread and allow to cool for 20 minutes.
