Elevate cupcakes with decadent Milky Way™ frosting and irresistible candy bar garnish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ White Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 12 oz Milky Way™ fun-size candy bars (about 21 bars)
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • Additional cut or chopped candy bars for garnish
Instructions:
  • Prepare and bake cupcakes according to the instructions on the cake mix box using water, oil, and eggs. Allow them to cool thoroughly.
  • 1. Fill a 1-quart saucepan with water and bring it to a gentle simmer. 2. Place a heatproof glass bowl with a larger diameter on top of the saucepan. 3. Add the candy bars, butter, and milk into the bowl. 4. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring regularly, until the candy bars are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Transfer the mixture from the saucepan into a mixing bowl. Stir in the vanilla extract, then add the powdered sugar and beat with a spoon until smooth. Let it cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Fill a decorating bag with frosting using a large round tip or a resealable food-storage plastic bag with a corner cut off. Pipe frosting onto each cupcake and quickly add 1 piece of candy bar on top.
