Delicious strawberry layer cake with fresh strawberries, cream, vanilla pudding, and moist vanilla cake. Perfect for pleasing any crowd!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package golden vanilla cake mix
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 3 cups sliced strawberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and generously grease and flour three 8-inch cake pans.
  • In a large bowl, using an electric mixer on low speed, blend cake mix, milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla pudding mix until just combined. Scrape bowl, increase speed to medium, and beat until batter is smooth for about 4 minutes. Pour batter into prepared cake pans.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer cakes to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Use an electric mixer to blend cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Then gently fold in the whipped topping until the frosting is silky.
  • Place one cake on a serving platter and spread frosting on top. Layer with strawberries. Top with the second cake and repeat the process. Finish by placing the final cake, frosting the top and sides, and topping with remaining strawberries. Enjoy!
