Transform simple ingredients into a satisfying meal with a delicious and comforting soup.
Ingredients:
  • 1020.00 gm (1 litre) beef style liquid stock
  • 700ml tomato passata
  • 2.25 gm sugar
  • salt and cracked black pepper
  • 375g veal tortellini (or beef tortellini)
  • Fresh basil, shredded, to serve
Instructions:
  • Combine stock, tomato passata, sugar, salt, and pepper in a large saucepan over medium heat until it reaches a high simmer.
  • Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions until al dente.
  • When ready to serve, divide the tortellini into bowls, ladle the soup over them, garnish with fresh basil, and enjoy promptly.
