Decadent egg-free and gluten-free brownies for a delicious chocolaty indulgence.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons chia seed meal
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup raw sugar
  • 0.5 cup agave nectar
  • 3 tablespoons vegan margarine
  • 1 teaspoon gluten-free vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup brown rice flour
  • 0.5 cup almond meal
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 cup cocoa powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Combine chia meal and water in a bowl, allow to thicken for about 5 minutes. Blend in raw sugar, agave, vegan margarine, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Combine brown rice flour, almond meal, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Mix in cocoa powder. Stir in the chia meal mixture until well combined; transfer the mixture to a prepared baking dish.
  • Bake in the oven until the top is dry and the edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan, for about 45 to 55 minutes.
