Vegan brown gravy made with rich vegetable broth, tamari, soy milk, and nutritional yeast for a luscious and velvety consistency.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup canola oil
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup vegetable broth
  • 3 tablespoons tamari sauce
  • 2 cups soy milk
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Whisk flour, vegetable broth, and tamari into the hot oil until smooth and paste-like, for about 5 minutes. Pour in soy milk and continue cooking until thickened, around 5 more minutes. Add yeast and black pepper, then stir to combine.
