Easy vegan brown gravy: Quick to make with simple ingredients, a tasty twist on the classic!
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 cups vegetable broth
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a small pot over medium heat, combine flour, oil, and garlic powder. Stir in vegetable broth, soy sauce, yeast, onion powder, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, whisking constantly until thickened, about 15-20 minutes.
