Ingredients:
  • 1 (15 ounce) can peas, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can green beans, drained
  • 1 (14 ounce) can shoepeg corn, drained
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped, or more to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup cooking oil
  • 0.5 cup red wine vinegar
Instructions:
  • Combine peas, green beans, corn, onion, celery, salt, and pepper in a bowl, creating a colorful and flavorful medley of vegetables.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar in oil and vinegar, stirring until completely dissolved, for about 5 minutes. Pour the warm mixture over the veggies, ensuring everything is well-coated. Chill in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight to enhance the flavors.
