Grilled veggie and mozzarella pita pockets: Layer veggies and cheese on oiled pita, grill to crispy perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pita bread round
  • 3 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup sliced crimini mushrooms
  • 0.125 teaspoon garlic salt
Instructions:
  • Heat up the grill until it reaches a sizzling medium-high temperature.
  • Brush one side of the pita with olive oil and pizza sauce. Layer with cheese and mushrooms, then sprinkle with garlic salt for a burst of flavor.
  • Prepare the grill grate by giving it a light coating of oil. Place the pita pizza on the grill, cover it, and cook until the cheese has completely melted, approximately 5 minutes.
