Quick and easy risotto with green onions and Parmesan, no constant stirring needed.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.66666668653488 cup sliced green onion
  • 1.3333333730698 cups uncooked long-grain rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
  • 0.75 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter until sizzling. Quickly sauté green onions in the butter before adding rice. Toast rice for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring continuously. Add water, season with chicken bouillon and pepper, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Cover and let the mixture rest off the heat for 5 minutes before adding Parmesan cheese and stirring it in.
