Elevate your party with zesty beef lettuce cups featuring lemongrass, cucumber, mint, and lime for a burst of flavor and freshness.
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm peanut oil
  • 500g lean beef mince
  • 1 lemongrass stem, pale section only, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 40.00 ml Sweet Soy Sauce
  • 24.40 gm Fish Sauce
  • 2 tsp Yeo’s Pure Sesame Oil
  • 4-5 radishes, sliced, cut into thin strips
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber, sliced, cut into thin strips
  • 1 small fresh red chilli, finely chopped
  • 40.00 ml shredded fresh mint leaves
  • 42.00 gm fresh lime juice
  • 8 iceberg lettuce leaves, trimmed
Instructions:
  • In a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat, warm peanut oil. Add beef and use a wooden spoon to break up any clumps. Let it cook without stirring for 3 minutes until the bottom is browned. Stir and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until beef is browned all over. Lower heat to medium.
  • Add the fragrant lemongrass and garlic, cooking and stirring for about a minute. Then, introduce the sweet soy sauce, fish sauce, and sesame oil, continuing to cook and stir for another minute. Finally, remove from the heat.
  • In a bowl, mix together radish, cucumber, chili, mint, and lime juice. Fill lettuce cups with warm beef mixture and top with radish salad before serving.
