Elevate your chicken wings with a flavorful Vietnamese marinade featuring garlic, lemon juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, and fish sauce for a delicious twist.
Ingredients:
  • 12 chicken wings, tips removed and wings cut in half at joint
  • 2 cloves cloves garlic, peeled and coarsely chopped
  • 0.5 onion, cut into chunks
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup Asian fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
Instructions:
  • In a spacious bowl, combine chicken wings, garlic, and onion. Add soy sauce, fish sauce, lemon juice, and sesame oil. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and sugar; mix until everything is evenly coated. Refrigerate covered for 2 hours to overnight.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and elegantly line a 9x13 inch baking dish with aluminum foil.
  • Remove wings from marinade, saving the extra. Place wings in a single layer in prepared dish. Bake in preheated oven, turning once and brushing with reserved marinade, until deep golden brown and juices run clear, about 30 minutes.
