Ingredients:
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 125g butter, chopped
  • 200g brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, lightly whisked
  • 75g plain flour
  • 40g self-raising flour
  • 20.00 gm cocoa powder
  • 125g sour cream
  • 100g dark chocolate, coarsely chopped, extra
  • 55g walnut
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 160°C, then generously grease and line a 23cm square cake pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate and butter. Stir continuously for 5 minutes until melted and smooth. Take off the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  • Combine the sugar and eggs with the chocolate mixture, then add the combined flours and cocoa powder and stir until mixed. Fold in the sour cream, extra chocolate, and walnuts gently. Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
  • Bake in a preheated oven until brownie is firm to the touch, about 30-40 minutes. Let it cool completely in the pan.
  • Transfer the mixture to a clean work surface and slice into squares using a large serrated knife.
