Slightly modified pumpkin pie recipe with a unique twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1.25 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.75 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to a piping hot 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Mix together pumpkin, condensed milk, egg, 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl. Transfer the batter to the pie crust.
  • Start by baking at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 15 minutes, then lower the oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix brown sugar, flour, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly, then stir in walnuts. Sprinkle over pie. Bake for 40 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Cool and garnish to serve.
