Walnut and tarragon crusted chicken tenders - a delicious and crunchy dish loved by everyone.
Ingredients:
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon dried tarragon
  • salt, to taste
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg and milk together. In another shallow bowl, mix walnuts, flour, tarragon, and salt. Dip chicken strips in the egg mixture first, then coat evenly with the flour mixture before placing on a plate.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter with oil. Fry chicken in batches until golden and crispy, about 5 minutes. Make sure one piece is fully cooked, with no pink meat and clear juices. Drain on paper towels.
